If you're looking to please a crowd, Makani E (Rozz and Jim) are a fantastic choice! We hired them for a Luau-themed Community Cookout and they really went above and beyond as performers. They arrived early and ready to set-up, supplied some fun little giveaways for the kids, and even did a hula lesson! Did I mention how amazing they sounded? You can tell these two really love what they do and that created an authentic and genuine experience of our guests. We are even considering making this an annual event because we loved working with them so much and the guests loved their music, too!

Makani E, Lokelina and Kimo, are no ka oi (the best)! I learned that from them and much more in their language class onboard. What they taught us in just less than an hour was simply amazing. They are very informative and so personable and patient. They really love interacting with the passengers. They are knowledgeable and provide great lessons on ukulele, hula, language, food, and culture. By the time we arrived in Hawaii we felt so much more comfortable with all of these, and we'd been there many times before! The music is outstanding! Not only do they play beautiful Hawaiian, and a great variety, they also play popular and oldies. They have a huge range and really add some nice personal twists on the music to make it their own. Can't wait to see them on a future cruise!

Rozz and Jim are great. If you want a true Hawaiian experience-- hire them. Our crowd loved them. We had primarily a senior citizen crowd and they accommodated them nicely. We will probably book them on a regular basis. Not only were they musically competent but their Hawaiian warmth really came out!

Makani E was absolutely perfect for our event! They were so friendly, and polite, they made everyone feel very relaxed and comfortable. The music was beautiful. My dad loves Iz, and they played his music great! They connected with everyone at the party, and I believe every guest went up to talk to them after their performance. They really cared about making the event special for my parents. I can't thank them enough for making the day so memorable. They took requests, and she performed a beautiful hula as a gift to my parents. They were truly a blessing!

Kimo and Lokelina are the two in the group Makani E. They are the best! She has the sweetest voice and the most graceful moves for a hula dancer. He plays great guitar and has a great voice for singing not only Hawaiian but a variety of other music. This group is a must to hear. Kimo and Lokelina are the friendliest an happiest people to get to know. Be sure to attend his Ukulele classes and her Hula classes. They also give wonderful and informative presentations on Hawaiian food and the language. Wish we could cruise with them more often.

This husband and wife group named Makani E is the best for a Hawaiian cruise. They play the best selections, have the best harmony and overall one of the best groups to listen and dance to.
